Plastic Bag for Wounds and Traumatisms
Back to treatmentsThis simple technique exploits the sanitizing and sanitizing potential of ozone in high doses. Already during the First World War, therefore more than a century ago, Dr Stoker of the Royal College of Medicine in England used this technique to sterilize the injuries of soldiers wounded in war and stimulate healing by promoting a surprising restitutio ad integrum. The same technique is also used today in incoercible wounds especially in diabetic patients. The high doses of ozone (60-70 µg / ml O3 / O2) are initially used to exploit the powerful bactericidal activity while lower doses (20-40 µg / ml O3 / O2) are subsequently applied to promote microcirculation and tissue oxygenation leading to complete healing. The technique is that of ozone resistant and sealed plastic bags to prevent environmental contamination of ozone. The interested parts can be previously treated with ozonated water and ozonated sunflower oil. The same method of the bag with high doses of ozone in addition to ozonated sunflower oil (OleoSan®) is also surprisingly effective for the treatment of trauma or arthritic phenomena of the extremities (hands and feet) resulting from inflammation, arthrosis, sprains and spurs bone.
